Features:
because nineteenth-century restorations to the Tapestry were often conjectural, the edition includes versions of three early facsimiles to help the viewer determine what in the Tapestry is original, and what has been added
each facsimile functions in the same manner as the main Tapestry's navigation; users can scroll through the facsimile, zoom in to three levels of magnification (the second level of zoom is shown in this screenshot), or use the outline to work non-linearly
each facsimile is linked to the others, and the Tapestry, so users may quickly and easily compare specific sections of each
facsimiles included:
Charles Stothard's 1821 watercolor of the Tapestry (shown above), which was used as the basis for most subsequent restorations
the Leek Embroidery Society's 1886 full-scale woven facsimile
